Race Registration:
------------------------
Registration is available on race day, however, I expect everyone to register via email ahead of time. The starting positions for the on land “Le Mans” start are determined by date of entry, so earlier entries will have a slightly advantageous starting position. To register for the race, send an email to TexasRiverChampionship@gmail.com with the following information:

-Team Name:
-Class Entered (Choose “Recreational”, “Racing”, or “Pro”):

Note: If you don't do email, feel free to give me a call at 832-443-5194 and I will register you.
Note#3: If you are unsure whether you should select the “Racing” or “Pro” class, I would encourage you to estimate your speed to result in a finish time of roughly 4:00 PM or earlier. For example, if you can average 6.25 MPH when paddling on the river (this includes portages, water stops, etc.), you would expect to finish the race in roughly 4.5 hours. In this case, you should definitely be in the “Pro” class (with an expected finish time of 3:30). If your expected average speed is less than 5.5 MPH (~5 hour finish time), definitely consider the “Racing” rather than the Pro class.
